I worked on my next block 'Garden Path'  and I knew it wasn't going to be an easy block...so I got  prepared!

I printed out a copy of the block and coloured it with the colours I was going to use.  Then I laid my pattern on top.  I took each piece, worked on it then laid it back on the pattern.  I was so much easier to keep track of this block this way.  And I didn't make any mistakes!

Turned out okay ...When I come across a really complex block I will try this again. 

I continued all weekend long ....sewing until my eyes were blurry...which doesn't take too long at times.
