Century of Progress was the next block..

this is mine.  I had trouble again with how it went together...and looking at it again, I see that I still don't have it right..The corner triangles are wrong. Well, here I go reverse sewing ...AGAIN!

The next block was Checkerboard..

even though this would be easy sewn tradtional, I paperpieced it..and I had no issues what so ever.  I used all purples for this block.  I have been using browns and rusts; very "fall" colours, but no more.  I am going to try to use more of the colours that I like...which is  purple and blue.
